Abstract
This thesis is aiming to compare management and marketing of two rowing clubs. The terminology is explained in the first part and following chapters are stated on this basis. Main concepts are for example: definitions of sport, rowing, marketing, communication mix tools, management and I also mentioned my research methods. In the main part I did using comparison given indicators come up with proposals and recommendations which could help both clubs define their strategies for future years. To accomplish objectives of this thesis I used particularly these methods: club management structure and work conditions analysis, interview, questionnaire, clubs marketing communication analysis, income and outcome analysis for 2012 and at the end of this paper summarization of SWOT analysis.
