Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the repeatability and reproducibility of the wheel runout measurement system. A theoretical part of this study is focused on the presentation of the measurement system's statistical properties and methods of measurement system analysis. The run-out of the wheel is also described. A practical part of this study introduces the selected company and its approach to the application of the measurement system analysis. The key part of this thesis is the measurement system analysis of the wheel runout for two measuring machines. Based on the results, corrective actions are designed and implemented and their effectiveness is verified by performing repeated analysis.
