Abstract

The content of the thesis is structured into four parts, the first one describes the possible variants of car kits hauling wood logs. The second part is focused on the identification of deficiencies of two different car kiks wiht hydraulic arm using the checklist and subsequent suggestion of measure these shortcomings. The third part addresses the issue of securing cargo in transit for a particular range of wood together with the proposal of slings. The fourth and last section is devoted to the proposal of safety principles for landfills of wooden logs and suggestion for safe handling by hydraulic arm.
