Abstract

The thesis "Ethics in Employee Relations in a Selected Organization" focuses on business ethics in employee relations and on the impact of unethical behavior in the workplace at the DEC-PLAST s.r.o. company. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts related to the thesis’ topic. These concepts include ethics and its basic approaches, morality, the sources of ethical thinking and behavior, business ethics and environment, health and safety at work. The greatest attention is devoted to the issue of unethical behavior in the workplace. The practical part deals with the analysis of data obtained from questionnaires filled out by all employees at the DEC PLAST s.r.o. company's headquarters in Příbor. Based on the data evaluation, a series of recommendations have been offered to optimize the ascertained shortcomings. It is believed that DEC-PLAST s.r.o. will benefit from this thesis.
