Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with general and specific technological procedure for work at heights, thanks to which the occurrence of work accidents and dangerous situations is eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level. The presented work focuses on the correct execution of work at heights using the right elements of collective and individual protection and technical equipment. It also describes the sources and causes of the most common accidents at work and accidents that occur when poor work is performed at heights and how to ensure safety and health when performing this work. At the end of the work is developed a model of general and specific technological procedure for a specific activity and an example of performing assembly activities on a sloping roof without a developed technological procedure, which clearly points to the issue of accidents and accidents at work at heights.
