Abstract

This thesis deals with the measurement of noise and vibration transmitted to the hand when working with hand power tools. Exposure of noise and vibration is measured in simulated activities routine when working with electric hand tools. The measurements are consistent with international standards. The work also focuses on the possible impact of soft and hard materials such as factor to mechanical vibration and noise. It is then pointed out the effect of these adverse effects on the health of exposed persons.

Final measured values are processed and derived appropriate comments. Finally of work is to evaluate worker exposure of noise and vibration transmitted to the hand when working with electrical hand tools and design optimization of prevention.
