Abstract

Nonparametric Statistical Methods in Quality Management The presented diploma thesis focuses on the topic of usage of non-parametric methods in the field of quality management. The aim of thesis is to demonstrate, explain and clarify individual and most widely used non-parametric methods in term of testing hypotheses and their use in practice, respectively in the field of quality management. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the most widely used non-parametric statistical methods of testing statistical hypotheses and their application in the field of quality management. The second part of the thesis focuses on the application of selected non-parametric methods by using Minitab software in simulated data being described on practical examples from the field of quality management. Subsequently, the methods are evaluated. Ultimately, recommendations for application into practice of quality management are made.
