Inovace simulátoru náklonu nádoby pro účely testování UREA senzorů

Abstract

This master’s thesis describes innovation of the tank tilt simulator for testing UREA sensors. One of the main goals was to integrate the entire simulator to function as a standalone device with no need for additional peripherals. The innovation was replacement of the servomotors by linear actuators. Further were added controls and position sensors. PC with touch LCD panel was integrated to achieve better control of the whole simulator. In first part of my thesis I briefly addressed the UREA sensors and principle of ultrasonic level measurement. I also covered categories and options of linear actuators. In second part I evaluated original state of the simulator and designed possible improvements. I have then implemented the improvements in the practical part and last, but not least rewrote part of the source code in MCU and edited part of the software in LabVIEW to properly control and manage the simulator.
