Abstract
The purpose of this bachelor work is describing of the IPTV technology - "television via IPTV protocol" and its added services. The first part of work is dedicated to development of technology until its present day. Next part is overview of available IPTV platforms in Czech market with concrete example services of local operator company WMS s.r.o. Complex solution of describe service is presented by example of mentioned operators technology together with lists of hardware and software components. At the end of work I suggest direction of service development related with IPTV in order to increase competition of company on the telecommunications market.
