Abstract
The main aim of this work was development of computational model of an arc bridge. The model has to be prepared in the Scia Engineer software. There have been prepared simplified computational models which have been based on the force method and on the direct stiffness method. These models have been analysed with help of the Microsoft Excel software. A more advanced 2D and 3D frame models have been prepared in the Scia Engineer. These models have been compared with shell-based finite element model in the Scia Engineer software. A dynamic analysis has been executed to obtain eigen frequencies of the model.
