Abstract
The bachelor thesis addresses the fire hazards of household equipment, say furniture, due to smoking. The function of the tests are to find out the resistance of cigarette ignition, the most widely used materials of upholstered furniture and their complete assemblies under usage methods and technologies, as well as test devices from American testing standard ASTM E 1353 – 02 ASTM E 1352 - 02.
