Abstract

The aim of this thesis is a project of the method Balanced Scorecard into the business management of a food company, whose main activity is the production of sweets, largely jelly products. In the theoretical part there is a defined sphere of business performance. Two approaches of a method application Balanced Scorecard, progress steps of this method and a time frame of the Balanced Scorecard implementation are described. Characteristic of the chosen company and its contemporary way of a performance measurement are a piece of the following application part. Hereafter the strategy was evaluated according to the competition volume and the identification of particular horizons of this method was carried out. Pursuant to the stated findings it came to the deduction of strategic objectives, among which the relations of reasons and results were built through the strategic maps. To each aim 1 – 3 scale factors were assigned, thanks to them the achievement of single aims is measured and final values are set. In the end the strategic actions were determined which contribute to fulfilment of the strategic objectives.
