Testování zásuvného modulu pro podporu pátrání po pohřešované osobě

Abstract

My diploma thesis deals with testing of plug-in module for missing person searching whose abbreviated name is „SEARCHER“. The module is being developed within the project of „The Use of Advanced Technology and Olfactory Capabilities of Dogs to Increase the Efficiency of Missing Persons Searching in the field“. Testing methodologies, basic principles of system testing and commercial and freely available tools used for these purposes are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis deals with the design of the methodology for testing the Searcher software developed over the Quantum GIS platform and selection of suitable tools for automated generation and test scenarios management. The thesis also contains documented results of manual tests that have been performed in the user environment and recommendations for further software development and testing.
