Abstract
In thesis is assessed effect of critical amount (50 %) core moulding mixture (Hot-Box and Cold Box) to the mechanical and technological properties of bentonite moulding mixture before and after thermal exposure. Also was studied mechanism of passivation bentonite in mixture after sorption of pyrolysis products. Results do not confirm major effect of core moulding mixture to mechanical or technological properties in green mixture, not even after heat exposure. It wasn´t possible to confirm passivation bentonite by mechanism of physical sorption. Measurement was carried out in laboratory conditions, without verification of results; in practical work it cannot be excluded that contamination of moulding mixture (50 % core sand) won´t be critical for its further use.
