Abstract

Bachelor Thesis deals withthe extensionand upgrading ofcomputer networkforelementary school.The theoretical partfocuseson explaining thebasic terms,such asFirewall, LAN, DNS, NAT andother termsthat are associatedwith the issue ofcomputer networks.There is alsoa description ofthe referencemodel of OSIlayernetwork architecture, along with the functionof each layer. Ethernettechnologywas notomittedorfamily protocolsTCP/IP, particularlya description of the basicprotocols and their usein practice.Thepractical partdescribes thedesignmy ownschool's networkexpansion, which is based on an analysis ofcurrent status.The proposal isdevelopedin twovariants, whichthe schooloffersdifferentoptionsas a range ofnetworks, but also the different costsassociated with its building.
