Abstract

In this baccalaureate thesis I deal with the formation of dustiness in the treatment of coal and its reduction using a screw mixer. The introduction contains a brief description of the Ledvice coal preparation plant and the method of processing coal on individual objects. In addition, I address the sources of dustiness in coal processing and dust reduction using existing measures. The main topic of this thesis, description and use of the screw mixer located on the outlet part of the industrial vacuum cleaner reservoir, above the belt conveyor from the deep-water storage facility to the coarse crusher site. The final part of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the efficiency of the used equipment before and after installation.
