Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of inventory management and optimization of financial costs associated with their acquisition and storage in the company Gumárny Zubří, joint stock company. The solution is based on a theoretical basis, which is based on Czech and foreign publications, and an analysis of the current situation in Gumárny Zubří, joint stock company. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to use the free capacity of the existing equipment, and thus reduce the space requirements and the size of capital tied up in stocks. Thanks to this, the company Gumárny Zubří, joint-stock company, can offer customers shorter delivery times of final products to customers. In today's difficult market times, the speed of delivery represents a great competitive advantage.
