Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis was to create a cast of the Maine Coon cat. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part is described the history of cats and a description breed of the Maine Coon cat, where the dominant features are wildness, majesty and beauty. The second part of the bachelor thesis is a practical part, in which I describe the process of making a bronze sculpture of a cat. Include the creation of a clay model, making of lukoprenic and gypsum form, producing a durable resin model, making the right core from the furan mixture, creating the false cores from the organobentonite mixture, the process of casting bronze and following final modification is adjustments.
