Abstract

Nestlé Czech Co. addresses the issue of rising energy prices at the factory Holešov Sfinx. The theme of the thesis project is recovery of heat from the ammonia vapor, which should help to save energy by using residual heat from the device for cooling food. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of operating costs, selecting the most appropriate method of financing the investment and economic evaluation of the effectiveness of the selected financing options. The first part focuses on theoretical knowledge relating to the investment decision, sources of financing the investment project, evaluation of economic efficiency and cost analysis. The purpose is to present the second part of the company. It outlines its history, policy, environmental sustainability, product portfolio and a brief description of each event. The third part deals with the analysis of the costs by type, costing, special-purpose classification and allocation of costs according to the relation to the volume of out performance by selecting the most appropriate method of financing and economic evaluation of the effectiveness of selected options in terms of funding criteria, repayment period, return on investment, net present value and internal rate of return . Operating costs were calculated for 20 years. Also, we examined the cost savings resulting from implementation of the project. Savings were also calculated over a period of 20 years. The implementation of the project company will save a lifetime of 5,319,937 CZK. When selecting a method of financing, we examined the financing of own funds, a loan (partial and full) and finance lease. For all methods was determined value of the total expenditure and the best financing option was chosen in the form of partial funding of the loan (60%). The decisive criteria for implementation include the amount of repayment and return on investment. The results of both values, we evaluated positively, so the project was recommended for implementation.
