Abstract

This work is dedicated to determining the influence of excess air to the combustion temperature of fuels at the heating plant TAMEH Ostrava s.r.o. Selected fuels are blast furnace gas, coke-oven gas and coal and a mixture of coal and blast furnace gas. There are described factors and methods that reduce the formation of NOx in the combustion process. Calculations are performed in the mixed and complete combustion. Analysis is made with varying amounts of combustion air for the formation and the volume of created flue gas. In the calculations, there is also the impact of chemical unburned.
