Abstract
This thesis deals with comparison of public company and joint-stock company, which are representatives of different types of companies in the Czech republic.
These companies are described and characterized in individual chapters.
The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is compiled by descriptive method, while the practical part by method of questionnaires.
In thesis is outlined an issue of public company in practice, statistics and influence of public companies on the market of Czech republic.
