Abstract

The work deals with the types of strain and damage pistol major steel DIN 32CrMoV12-10. In the theoretical section summarizes important findings concerning the issue of brittle fracture, fatigue and structures under cyclic loading, knowledge of the structure and characteristics of the pistol barrel from weapons of steel. The practical part analyzes the possible causes of a major violation of individual samples, using hardness testing, metallographic investigations, documentation, methods of fracture surfaces of electron microscopy and chemical composition analyzes GDS, when as a source of low-cycle fatigue seems problems processes.
