This Diploma thesis deals with the theory at the beginning of infrared radiation and a description of the principle of imaging through. It also focuses on the analysis of the possibility of using thermal imagers for emergency operations fire brigade units. It outlines an overview of the thermal imagers owned regional fire rescue corps and businesses. Subsequently, a survey which asks questions on features that fire units from the expected thermal imagers. They describe the current kinds of advanced thermal imaging cameras from various manufacturers, designed for firefighters. It is an evaluation of the extent to which they meet the requirements of thermal imagers firefighters. The next section outlines the experiment on the effects of optical smoke density measurement capability on the thermal imager. In conclusion, this experiment carried out and evaluated.
