Abstract

The area of the former municipal slaughterhouse in Ostrava is located atypically near the city center, which brought complications to the neighborhood in the past. After the closure of slaughterhouse and its transfer to a more appropriate location, location of the original building near to the center is great advantage and offers a wide range of options for object reconstruction. This project tries to indicate possibilities for commercial exploitation of the object. The aim of this work is particularly documentation of the current state of the building, historical analysis and reconstruction of the building.
