Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the determination of the market value of the AB joint-stock company through selected valuation method. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the principle and methods of valuation. The practical part includes strategic analysis, financial analysis and composition of financial plan. This is followed by business valuation based on discounted cash flow method – entity, capitalized earnings methods and the method of accounting. Thesis concludes with suggestions and recommendations which are based on application of the methods mentioned above.
