Hospodaření statutárního města Frýdek-Místek

Abstract

The main goal of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the stability and efficiency of the statutory city of Frydek-Mistek in the period of 2015-2020. This goal is achieved through the analysis of three selected indicators: the current budget balance indicator, the city's debt per capita indicator and the investment activity indicator. These three differently oriented indicators are then aggregated into one final indicator of the efficiency and stability of the city's economy, which will be constructed using the "scoring" method. The purpose of this final indicator is to provide a basic view of the management of the statutory city of Frydek-Mistek. Working with indicators is the content of the fourth chapter of the bachelor thesis. The second chapter introduces the reader to a theoretical subject focusing on public administration topic. Both state administration and self-government are described in more detail here. In addition to the local governments, the management of municipalities itself is described - especially the topic of the territorial budget. The third chapter describes the structure of the municipality (revenues and expenditures of the municipality) and presents theoretical knowledge on real data of the statutory city of Frydek-Mistek in the period of 2015-2020.
