Abstract
The presented diploma thesis deals with a significant environmental phenomenon - slope deformations, in the sense of capturing their ongoing changes using modern technologies. The theoretical part is devoted to the origin and development of slope movements, definition of the locality of interest, 3D laser scanning technology and last but not least, attention is paid to specific cases of slope movements to which this technology was applied. The main goal of the practical part is to determine the potential movement of the slope of the separate edge of the Gírová landslide, based on the performed scanning campaigns, which were carried out during long-term period. Part of the work is described the whole process of editing the obtained data in specialized software, including the subsequent visualization and interpretation of the observed changes of the separate landslide edge.
