Abstract

Removal of oil by walnut shell media (Juglans regia) is the subject of my bachelor work. This work is the background research of using walnut shell media like the possible biosorbent. There is written about oily compounds which contaminate environment, especially wastewaters. In this bachelor work is shown the present status of operation problems, ways of usage of the natural biosorbent not only for organic compounds, for inorganic compounds, too. There is written about different ways of decontamination of oily compounds from the environment.
