Abstract

In the presented work there is a review of safety risks in the Internet environment. The first part explains basic principles of unauthorised data acquisition from other computers. Consequently, the overview includes types of malicious code. Different applications used to combat malware and protect against Internet attacks are compiled and explained in the next part. The other section explains the hardware solution to ensure the safety of the workstation. In conclusion, this work includes the comparison between two methods of ensuring the safety and the choice of an effective solution is recommended.
