Abstract
The master´s thesis was initiated as a response to the innovation potential of a selected organisation. It aims to propose a potential innovation strategy for the organisation Students, s. r. o., which provides consultancy services in sector of international education and rented residential asset classes, primarily student housing. In order to accomplish the objective of the master´s thesis, a combination of both – qualitative and quantitative methods of research was used. An analysis of academic literature provided the theoretical framework for the issue of innovation strategy and innovation management. An internal documents of the organisation served as a foundation for developing a description of the organisation´s background and an overview of its core activities. By means of a PEST analysis, the external environment of the organisation was analysed, and a financial analysis provided an overview of current financial situation of the organisation. The basis for the proposed innovation strategy was an analysis of the current state of innovation management in the organisation Students, s. r. o. and a SWOT analysis. Based on the key findings, two potential innovation strategies were proposed in accordance with the framework developed by Guerras and Navas. One of the proposed innovations focuses on enhancing the services that organisation offers, specifically through expansion to Buil-to-Rent sector. The second strategy targets the innovation of internal processes through integration of means of artificial intelligence. In conclusion, the organisation Students, s. r. o. can maximise its innovation potential if through the simultaneous implementation of both proposed innovation strategies. The outcome of the final thesis consists of two proposals of innovation strategies, which may serve as a foundation for enhancing organisation´s competitiveness and improving its internal processes. The objective of the master´s thesis has thus been successfully achieved.
