Distribuce DVB televizního vysílání přes IP sít

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issues of digital terrestrial broadcasting of the DVB-T2 standard and its subsequent distribution within IP networks. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics and technical parameters of the DVB-T2 system in the Czech Republic, including the specification of multiplexes and utilized modulation schemes. The practical part is focused on the implementation and configuration of an IPTV streaming server in the EB211 laboratory environment. During the implementation, emphasis was placed on the setup of software tools for receiving and filtering multiplexes, configuration of multicast broadcasting using virtual network interfaces, and the deployment of proxy services for stream distribution to end clients. The solution also includes the automation of Electronic Program Guide (EPG) generation and functionality verification using the KODI multi-platform player. The output of the thesis is a practical laboratory task, allowing students to master the procedures of installation, configuration, and diagnostics of IPTV systems.
