Abstract

The thesis deals with the creation of 3D models and visualization of three windmills in the Opava area. Particularly it concerns German windmills nearby the villages of Bravinné, Litultovice and Hlavnice; a brief description, technical characteristics and history of these windmills is found in the first part of the thesis. The following part deals with general division of photogrammetry and used software. Further, the thesis describes calibration of a digital non-metric camera which is followed by interest objects scanning. The next chapter deals with the operation and description of measurements process made by geodetic methods. The following part describes the technique of 3D models creation and visualization of particular objects. The final chapter inquiries into the recognition of the quality of given 3D models on the basis of photogrammetry characteristics and geodetic polarization comparison.
