The subject of the bachelor thesis „Intersection of Roads I/68 and II/648 in Horni Tosanovice“ is to analyze the intersection and then suggest a solution to increase a safety. The bachelor thesis includes a traffic survey, a conflict situations video, traffic intensity and the traffic flows and routes. The results of this bachelor thesis are two new layouts, which lead to increase a safety and its assessments and evaluations. The first layout’s solution is modifying the right of way and the second layout’s solution is a roundabout. In the final part, there are traffic simulations in PTV VISSIM software.
