Abstract
This theis deals with slope stability questions and stabilization suggestions in use of an unconventional geotubes technology. In the introduction, there are briefly mentioned mainly used methods. Consequently, the thesis focuses on the utilization of geotubes technology for the slope stabilization, main principle and comparison of the other methods. The main benefit is suggestion of slope stabilization using the geotubes technology in a district of Ostrava - Bartovice on the short-range slope along water flow Ráček. A calculation is made with several model variants of different geometric configuration of stability elements in geotechnical software Plaxis 2D. In the conclusion, there is a summary of results and final evaluation of application of geotubes technology.
