Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of surface treatment on the strength of the bonded joint. Specifically, it is a laser treatment. The theoretical part is divided into three subchapters according to the type of material. The first of the subchapters is focused on the treatment of aluminum alloys AA6082-T4, 6061 - T6 and AA6022-T4, where the third one was treated with plasma based on argon and oxygen. The second and third subchapter deals with the treatment of Ti6Al4V titanium alloys and DP500 biphasic steel. The experimental part examines three possible ways of laser surface treatment. The EN AW – 2017A aluminum material used for this experiment is then subjected to a wettability, fluorescence and surface roughness test. After performing and evaluating these tests, the material was bonded with 3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ 7260 with 2% (by weight) Balotina B10 (200-300µm). The lap joints are tested for shear strength. The aim was to compare the shear strength of the samples and to determine the effect of the individual modifications. All the results are presented in the conclusion.
