Abstract

The theme of this work is the measurement and processing of GSM and UMTS signal by mobile XDA devices on the platform NET Compact Framework

Part of the solution was acquainted with the various parameters and architecture from both the GSM and UMTS system.Furthermore, acquaintance with architecture NET Compact Framework and with the methods for determining the position of search a mobile phone. The practical part deals with determining the position of search a mobile phone based on the measured parameters of the GSM system and measuring of the level signal of the transmitter / receiver BTS station. Finally, will be the evaluation of the work and a summary of the achieved results.
