Abstract
This master’s thesis focuses on the development of a procedure for transforming source code into
UML diagrams through XMI specifications for UML, as per the standard issued by the OMG consortium.
The thesis includes the design and implementation of a tool that performs the transformation
from source code to XMI specifications of UML diagrams. The implemented tool generates XMI
specifications for activity and class diagrams, which can be visualized using specialized software.
