Abstract

The thesis deals with the design of explosion protection measures in wood processing technology. In the first chapter are given examples of explosions in the Czech Republic and motivation to write thesis. Chapter two deals with Czech and European legislative documents. The third part is devoted to division, influence and initiation of explosion. The following section is devoted to selected woodworking operation. Basic information on operation, possible occurrence of initiation sources, sampling, treatment and measurement of samples, and classification into zones are given here. The penultimate part proposes active and passive explosion protection measures. The sixth part summarizes all the findings.
