Projektování elektrických zařízení pro vodárenský průmysl

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals in detail with the issue of alternating current (AC) electrical machines and their use in the field of water management. Firstly, the thesis introduces the principles and classification of asynchronous and synchronous motors. It also addresses various methods of motor starting and control. Furthermore, an overview of typical electric drives used for key equipment in water management is analyzed, such as submersible and dry pumps, blowers, compressors, mixers, chemical dosing pumps, and electric valve actuators. The thesis also discusses the control circuits used in the water industry. Another part covers the application of electrical machines in the water industry and the development of project documentation for a submersible pump with a synchronous electric motor. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the use and control of electric drives in water management.
