Zhodnocení náročnosti zajištění požární bezpečnosti objektu sociální péče

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the requirements placed on residential social care facilities from the perspective of Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on Social Services, and Act No. 133/1985 Coll., on Fire Protection, including their implementing regulations, and to assess the degree of their fulfilment in new and existing facilities. The thesis focuses on homes for the elderly, with the first chapter of the theoretical part presenting their general characteristics and current status. Subsequently, the specifics of these facilities are defined both in terms of social legislation and fire protection requirements. The thesis also deals with the issue of emergencies, specifically fires in residential social service facilities in the years 2019-2024. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the legal framework for the operation of social facilities along with the principles of fire safety design of homes for the elderly. In the final part of the thesis, a specific residential social care facility is analysed and the extent to which it fulfils the requirements arising from fire protection legislation and the Social Services Act is assessed.
