Možnosti použitia sezmickej tomografie na hodnotenie porušenosti horninového masívu na ložisku Dúbravský masív

Abstract

This paper summarizes the results of experimental survey to evaluate levels of rock massif's disturbance. Seismic survey methods were used at Dubravsky Massif magnesite deposit. The survey work was carried out in cooperation with the University at Miskolc, Hungary. Results of this survey confirmed the suitability of applied survey methods and equipment. Knowledge of structural composition of the deposit, as well as the understanding of degree of rock body disturbance is essential for preparation and mining of the deposit. Detailed understanding of spatial distribution of fault zones within the deposit is of paramount importance in regard to overall economics of the deposit as well as the safety of mining operations. Results of this survey are significant not only for understanding of structural elements of the deposit, but also for future monitoring of tension changes within the deposit.
