Posuzování kritičnosti prvků silniční infrastruktury

Abstract

The dissertation deals with the issue of assessing the road infrastructure elements criticality. The work is divided into five consecutive parts. The theoretical analysis describes the historical development of the critical infrastructure protection issue, the identification of the critical infrastructure elements, the definition of the critical character of the element in the element system, and the methods for criticality assessment. Particular attention is paid to causal dependencies and approaches to criticality assessment. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the suggestion of a model for assessing the road infrastructure elements criticality, the model being based on a process approach. The suggested model is based on a “bottom-up" approach and is divided into four consecutive phases, with the identification process, analysis, and evaluation processes included representatively in each of them. The practical application of the chosen approach, including the suggested criticality assessment model, has been applied to elements of the road infrastructure of a part of Bolatice in order to demonstrate the functionality and possibilities of practical employment.
