Abstract
Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a management method used by a number of companies and institutions to improve competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth. The aim of this thesis is to apply this method to CNC center of OCHI Engineering, spol. s.r.o. and to achieve an improvment in its performance. The establishment of CNC is related to the realization of the grant project Innovation, so it is necessary to take into account obligations arising from the project implementation, when using the BSC. For the purpose of this work we use the BSC method modification viewed from six perspectives, which is extended when compared with more common and easier BSC with 4 perspectives. Selecting and defining appropriate indicators and implementation of the method is performed using a David Parmenter 12-step model. First, the key performance indicators are determinated and their desired values are defined, then their current values are found. CNC center Scorecard shows the difference between the desired and actual indicators from various perspectives. The next section proposes concrete actions and recommendations for achieving the desired state, thus improve the overall performance of CNC center and achieve synergie across the company OCHI Engineering.
