Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the principles and possibilities of spectrometric measurements. Describe the various elements of the measuring system and measuring software. This diploma thesis contains three measurements dealing with the measurement of diode emission spectra, absorption spectra of colored liquid and relations between them. It also deals with identifying of the food coloring type in unknown candy and determining the exact amount of dye in unknown candy. The results of this diploma thesis are also the three guidelines for laboratory measurements for future students.
