Abstract

This thesis deals with the analysis and design proposal of asynchronous ring-shaped motor for telescopic crane hoist drive of H category, with a capacity of 10,000 kg. The first part of dissertation deals with the theory of asynchronous motors, their principles, functions, design and division. Further, there is followed own design chapter and calculation of three-phase asynchronous ring-shaped motor with 60 kW capacity and 40% load factor. All in accordance with the CSN 35 0000. There was decided to choose motor from Siemens Elektromotory s.r.o. Company as the optional model of commercially offered asynchronous/ induction motors.
