Abstract
The thesis deals with the study of biosorption nickel on cones of coniferous trees. The theoretical part explains the current problems, further describes the properties of nickel, processes of the biosorption and biosorbent properties. The experimental part shows graphically the results of the Ni biosorption in aqueous solution. In the entire work is used grain size < 0.5 – 1,0 mm, which was activated in sodium hydroxide with a concentration of 0.1 mol/l to 1 mol/l with an exposure time of 20 minutes. The laboratory temperature was 21 ± 2 °C, rotation speed 150/min and the input concentration was 100 mg/l. The research shows the efficiency of 86 % with the adsorption capacity q = 10.73 mg/g at pH = 6.0. A better model appeared Langmuir model with correlation coefficient r = 0.994.
