Zdravotné poistenie v Slovenskej republike

Abstract

Táto bakalárska práca je venovaná problematike a fungovaniu zdravotného poistenia v Slovenskej republike. Snahou je vysvetliť podstatu súčasného systému zdravotného poistenia. Prostredníctvom zdravotného poistenia sa zabezpečuje poistencom zdravotná starostlivosť. Prvá časť bakalárskej práce je venovaná charakteristike základných pojmov súvisiacich so zdravotným poistením. V tejto časti sú spomenutí účastníci zdravotného poistenia, jednotlivé typy zdravotného poistenia, vznik a zánik verejného zdravotného poistenia, ale aj práva a povinnosti poistencov. Druhá časť je venovaná trom zdravotným poisťovniam, ktoré pôsobia na území SR, ktorými sú Všeobecná zdravotná poisťovňa, Union a Dôvera. Tretia časť je zameraná na osobitné skupiny platcov poistného, ktorými sú zamestnávatelia, zamestnanci, osoby samostatne zárobkovo činné a poistenci štátu. Táto časť obsahuje tiež výpočty vymeriavacích základov a stanovenie výšky poistného.

This bachelor’s thesis outlines and asseses the health insurance system in Slovakia and the way it works. The main objective is to explain the features of the health insurance system. The core feature is that it provides health care to those paying for insurance. The first chapter focuses on the characteristics of the main elements of the health insurance. In this chapter I analyse the users of health insurance, the individual types of health isurance, how to join and leave the public health insurance scheme, as well as the rights and obligations of the insurance payers. The second chapter analyses three specific health insurance companies in Slovakia, which are Všeobecná zdravotná poisťovňa, Union, and Dôvera. The third chapter concentrates on the specific groups of insurance payers which are employers, employees, sole traders and the group whose health insurance is paid by the state. This chapter also explains the calculations of the insurance basis and setting the insurance payments amounts.
