Abstract
This diploma work deals with the design of a control and visualization system for an automated line that is intended for the verification and sorting of pipes. Included is a performed analysis of the constructional and functional needs, on which basis this draft control system is created.
The control system is decentralized; its kernel is PLC Simatic S7 - 300. The task of the control system is to transport pipes over a non-destructive verification system, and then diverts the pipes to be either cut and stored or re-evaluated for defects at a correction workplace. This line can be controlled either automatically or manually.
The visualization system consists of two panels. The main visualization is placed in a colored graphic panel, which allows instant monitoring of actual and previous control process states and its operation in manual or automatic mode. The second part of the visualization is placed in a smaller panel with a monochrome LCD display, and serves to control the smaller section of the line.
