Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis is administration and financial management of a town office. The aims were to summarize current knowledge on the topic and to focus on the town office of a particular municipality with extended competence. Frýdlant nad Ostravicí Town Office was selected for this purpose. Information obtained at the Town Office was subsequently used for a comparison of number and structure of employee and the salary expenses in 2010–2014. My analysis and evaluation demonstrates that Frýdlant nad Ostravicí Town Office was administered deliberately and with consistent financial management during the examined period.
