Abstract
This thesis deals with the drives and their steering possibilities of the belt conveyors for surface mines. The control of frequency converter, soft starter, starting with hydrodynamic couplings, rotor starter or inductior starter are described there. It also discusses the electrical station of the driving belt conveyor.
